Devolopment of Sri Lanka

The government of Sri Lanka giving presses briefings anytime on their development projects with the policy of MAHINDA CHINTHANA. Though the government says that there is big development in the country, North East and estate youths attended in the Work shop Colombo on peace and development last week(2010.03.22-23) said that they can’t see a equal development for all in the country.

Most of people are not benefited from “UTHURU WASANTHAYA” and they have built bridges and developing roads but according to the people that it should not be the actual development of the country as many war affected people are still suffering in Vanni without even their basic needs.
